Coaching self evaluation
Self Evaluation
For my lesson, I had the value of respect. It was at St. Michael's and the activity I did was hockey. It started off slowly, because the kids were excited. When I started explaining it, they settled down.

- Presentation- I wore my sports shirt and tracksuit bottoms, ready for sport. Before starting, I told them my name and what we were doing in the lesson. Then, I told them our Olympic value (Respect) and asked them what it meant. I would give myself a 8/10.
- Discipline- At first, it was a bit shaky, because I had just started. After I got going, I knew what I was doing, so I got started straight away explaining the value, and what they were doing. Most of the time, the groups listened to me straight away because they wanted to play. A few times, it took a bit longer to control them.
- Communication- I thought I talked clear enough going through the lessons, because the kids understood what they were doing and got on with the game straight away. They understood the rules and knew the game.
- Confidence- At first, I was a bit quiet, because I had just started and was a little nervous, but going on, I became more confident and spoke more and louder.
St Phillip's Sports Day reflection
This document contains information about the activity I led at the St Phillips sports day.

At St Phillips Sports day, I was leading the Bean bag bonanza. I had 3 year 6's working with me for the event, as well as a teacher. They were helping me out by counting the scores for one team each. I had to delegate the jobs to them, as well as having a deminstrator. Challenges I faced included changing the way I had to explain the activity to the different year groups as the year groups were year 1 to year 5. I overcame this by explaining it as basic as possible to year 1's with a year 6 demonstrator, and just explaining it without demonstrations to year 5's. I enjoyed it very much because everyone joining in were enjoying it, which meant it went well. I demonstrated leadership skills as I had to stand up in front of the groups I had and explain to them what to do, as well as encourage them when they were having a go.
